Details:

Mariners are advised of a paddle craft event in the vicinity of Williamstown Beach during the times nominated above.

A set aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

37° 52.047’S, 144° 53.394’E

37° 52.064’S, 144° 53.369’E

37° 52.175’S, 144° 53.468’E

37° 52.158’S, 144° 53.506’E

The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside area during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
