Flinders Pier Maintenance Works and Set Aside Area

Monday 8 December 2025 until Sunday 8 March 2026

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance works and a Set Aside Area at Flinders Pier during the dates noted above.
 
A set aside area for the works includes the 180-metre timber approach of the pier and the adjoining waters south of the pier as indicated in the diagram below.  The set aside area will be marked by signage and buoys and is bounded by the following approximate positions (WGS84).
 
1.       38°28.525’S.  145°01.504’E.
2.       38°28.537’S.  145°01.624’E.
3.       38°28.541’S.  145°01.624’E.
4.       38°28.528’S.  145°01.504’E.
 
This set aside is put in place to ensure public safety in the area during the works.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution, not to enter the declared set aside area, and to stay clear of any barges or work boats

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(a) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulation 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding individuals involved in the works and Parks Victoria Officers.
