St Kilda Pier – Vessels Prohibited Set Aside Area Established

Mariners are advised that a Vessels Prohibited Set Aside area has been established at St Kilda Harbour, within the following locations (WGS84) and as shown on map 1 on the attachment.
 1. 37° 51.877′S, 144° 57.930′E - Behind St Kilda Pier Kiosk
 2. 37° 51.872′S, 144° 58.074′E - Current extent of existing Vessels Prohibited zone 
 3. 37° 51.897′S, 144° 58.091′E - Vessels Prohibited sign on St Kilda Pier 
 The Set Aside area has been established for public safety and to reflect the alignment of the new pier. Unlit special mark buoys will be established to demarcate the set aside area within St Kilda Harbour at the following approximate locations (WGS84):
 1. 37° 51.876′S, 144° 57.985′E 2. 37° 51.873′S, 144° 58.025′E 
 Mariners are advised that public vessel entry to the Set Aside area is prohibited and to navigate with caution and within the speed limit in the vicinity of St Kilda Pier.

Relevant Law:

The area has been set aside under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all vessels.
