Fireworks Display

Wednesday 31 December 2025 between 1900hrs and 2330hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a Fireworks Display adjacent to Portarlington Foreshore Reserve during the times noted above. A set aside for the Fireworks Display extends in a 200m radius from a barge positioned approximately 450m West of Portarlington Pier and 250m offshore at approximate location: 38°06.479’S and 144°38.918’E (WGS84). This set aside area is put in place to ensure public safety in the local port as per WorkSafe requirements regarding safety fallout areas for this fireworks display. Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside area during the dates and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared set aside area

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria Officers.
