Life Saving Carnival Event

Date:

Saturday 31 January 2026 between 0845hrs and 1600 hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a lifesaving carnival event at Mordialloc Beach during the times nominated above. The event is occurring in a set aside area adjacent to the Mordialloc Life Saving Club, and bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 38°0.450’S, 145°4.850’E 2. 38°0.517’S, 145°4.900’E The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals. Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside area during the event and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
