Brighton Beach - Swim Event

Sunday 01 February 2026, between 0630hrs and 1230hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event during the times nominated above. A set aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 3. 37° 54.868' S, 144° 59.114' E 37° 55.368' S, 144° 58.607' E 2. 4. 37° 54.973' S, 144° 58.582' E 37° 55.349' S, 144° 59.161' E The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
