Flinders Pier Works and Set Aside Area

Monday 16 February 2026 until further notice

Details:

Mariners are advised of works to the timber approach section of Flinders Pier during the dates noted above. A temporary set aside area will be established around the works as indicated in map 1 on the attachment. The set aside area has been established for public safety and will be marked by signage and buoys at the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 3. 38°28.541'S, 145°01.632'E 38°28.550'S, 145°01.587'E 2. 4. 38°28.553'S, 145°01.630'E 38°28.526'S, 145°01.506'E Access to the pier will remain available by the adjacent concrete approach. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 10(1)(c) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulation 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding individuals involved in the works and Parks Victoria Officers.
