Victorian Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised of the U24 ultra marathon open water long distance swim event, occurring between Safety Beach and Sorrento during the times nominated above. The event is commencing from the beach, south of Safety Beach Boat Ramp at approximate location (WGS84): 38°18.803’S, 144°59.455’E, and finishing southwest of Sorrento Pier, at approximate location (WGS84): 38°20.510'S, 144°44.934'E. The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
