East Cardinal Beacon Permanently Replaced with Buoy

Details:

Mariners are advised that a permanent East Cardinal buoy ‘Point Cook’ with characteristics Q(3)W 10s, has been established at approximate location (WGS84): 37°55.646’S, 144°48.994’E (WGS84). The buoy is shown in image 1 below and permanently replaces a beacon and a temporary buoy, as outlined in notices 484(T)-25 and 485(T)-25. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the buoy. 

Previous notice:

484(T)-25 is referred and cancelled, 485(T)-25 is referred and cancelled.

No further Notice will be issued.
