Eastern Beach –Swim Event

Saturday 21 March 0900 hrs to Sunday 22 March 0930hrs 2026

Details:

Mariners are advised of the Ironman 70.3 swim event at Eastern Beach, Geelong during the times nominated above. Mobilisation and set up will begin on Saturday 21 March with the main event occurring Sunday 22 March 2026. A set aside will exist around the competition area and races will occur off the beach bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 38°08.791’S, 144°22.189’E 3. 38°08.803’S, 144°22.264’E 2. 38°08.362’S, 144°22.264’E Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
