Tankerton Channel Aid to Navigation reinstatement

Date:

7 April to 8 May 2026, conditions permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised of works within the Tankerton Channel and at Tankerton Jetty during the 
dates noted above at approximate location: 38°22.967’S, 145°16.217’E (WGS84). 
The works will be undertaken with the use of a barge and support vessel 
to install a channel navigation mark which replaces the temporary buoy and 
replacement of a damaged fender on the jetty. 

All hazards to navigation will be marked to IALA standards throughout the works.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and adhere to speed limits in the 
vicinity of Tankerton Jetty, Tankerton.
