Wave Monitoring Buoy Missing

Details:

Mariners are advised that the lit Special Mark buoy with characteristics Fl.(Y).2.5s, marking a wave monitoring buoy at approximate location (WGS84): 38˚19.211’S, 144˚43.945’E (WGS84) is missing. NTM 218-2026 notes that the buoy was re-established, but it is again missing. The buoy has been recovered and will be reinstated as soon as practicable.
