Victorian Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised of the Western Suburbs Triathlon Club Race 6 Swim Event at Altona Beach during the times nominated above. The swim is occurring in an area east of Altona Pier, and bounded by the shore and following the below approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 37°52.278'S, 144°49.973'E - Start location on beach 2. 37°52.397'S, 144°50.019'E - No Boating Zone Beacon 3. 37°52.408'S, 144°49.888’E - East of Altona Pier The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
