Half Moon Bay – Swim Event

Date:

Saturday 2 May 2026 between 0530hrs and 1230hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event in the vicinity of Half Moon Bay during the times nominated above. The event will occur off the beach within a set aside area, bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84): 1. 37° 58.140'S, 145° 0.636’E 3. 37° 57.558'S, 145° 0.540’E 2. 37° 57.876'S, 145° 0.471’E The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event officials. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials. 

Previous notice:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2025. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
