Details:

Mariners are advised of works occurring beneath the San Remo Bridge, at approximate location: 38°31.167’S, 145°21.950’E (WGS84). The works will be undertaken by SRG Global via a scaffold system and pontoons secured from the bridge structure.

The works will now affect spans on both the San Remo and Newhaven sides of the bridge as shown in figure 1 below. The works on both sides will begin on the shoreward ends of the bridge and advance towards the middle of the bridge as works progress.

In this stage of works, the middle three spans of the bridge will remain unaffected.

Lit yellow Special Mark buoys with characteristics Fl4Y.10s will delineate no wash zones around the works area.

Lit yellow Special Mark buoys with characteristics Fl4Y.15s will delineate exclusion zones around the works area.

The works will continue in several stages, and the spans available for navigation beneath the bridge will change as the works progress. At least one of the centre three spans will remain open throughout the works as noted by traffic management signed on the bridge itself.

The details of updated exclusion zones, the spans open for navigation and the air draft available will be communicated by further notice and available in further information below.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of San Remo Bridge and proceed with no wash in the vicinity of the works.
