NOTICE OF BOATING ACTIVITY EXCLUSION ZONE
Parks Victoria as the declared waterway manager
for the Yarra River upstream of the Port Waters of the Port of Melbourne hereby
gives notice under section 208(2) of the Marine
Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that all persons and vessels not registered to take
part in the Sky Symphony event are prohibited from entering and remaining in
the following waters.
Waters of the Yarra River – Between Queens &
King Streets Bridges, downstream of Enterprise Park Wharf, extending approx. 45
metres out from the northern shore and 60 metres wide as marked by 4 exclusion
zone buoys at approximate locations:
· 37°49'13.8"S 144°57'37.5"E
·
37°49'14.7"S 144°57'35.6"E
·
37°49'14.4"S 144°57'35.3"E
·
37°49'13.9"S 144°57'35.5"E
The exclusion zone will be in effect from 8:00am to 11:00pm
from Thursday 5 October 2023 to Tuesday 17 October 2023.
