NOTICE OF BOATING ACTIVITY
EXCLUSION ZONE
Parks Victoria as
the declared waterway manager for Yarra River upstream of port waters of the
Port of Melbourne, hereby gives notice under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that all
persons and vessels not registered to take part in the 2023 Fox Footy Longest
Kick are prohibited from entering and remaining in the following waters.
Partial River
Closure Waters of Yarra River – upstream edge of VRA landing to Swan Street
Bridge, adjacent to Birrarung Marr.
The exclusion zone
and single way transit lane will be in effect from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday 30 September
2023.
Only Domestic Commercial Vessels registered with Parks
Victoria prior to the event may use the transit lane on the North side, under
the direction of Parks Victoria.
