The quiet camping area at Longridge Park accommodates a large group of up to 40 people. Set among beautiful woodland in Warrandyte, it has all the space and facilities you will need for the perfect weekend getaway with family and friends.
Go for a swim in the river to cool down, or set off in a canoe to explore all that the Yarra has to offer. There is a canoe launching ramp only 100m from the campground. Cast a line and try your luck fishing in the river.
The campground is well-equipped for a cookout, with a wood BBQ, picnic tables, drinking water and a dishwashing area. There are toilets and hot showers, which are accessible for people with limited mobility.
Play and camp in the open space, or sit around the fire pit as you take in the sounds and serenity of the bush in Yarra Valley Parklands. Go for a morning stroll down to the river and you might be lucky enough to spot a platypus.

How to get there
Longridge Campground
Longridge Park is beside the Yarra River in Warrandyte (Melway ref: 22 J10). Access to the camping area is off Alexander Road.

When you're there
Campground access is restricted to booked campers via a locked gate. Advance bookings are essential so you can be given a permit and code to open the gate.
The period between 1.00pm on the first day and 12.00pm (midday) the following day constitutes a single day's booking.
The campsite is unpowered and suitable for tents only. There is a car park within the campground near the information shelter.
Limited wood is supplied and it is recommended that you bring your own wood splitter.

Yarra Valley Parklands night closures for deer control works
Parks Victoria will be undertaking deer control in the Yarra Valley Parklands. This program will be taking place between the hours of 5pm and 6am on the following nights 4, 5 and 6th of May, 15, 16 and 17th of June, 13, 14 and 15th of July, and the 10, 11, and 12th of August. These control works are being undertaken by accredited and authorised contractors.For reasons of public safety, various areas of the parklands will be inaccessible during the evening throughout this period. These areas include: Westerfolds Park, Montpelier Reserve, Birrarrung Park, Yarra Flats, Banyule Flats (both the Parks Victoria and Banyule council sections), Banksia Park, Yarook Tambore Wetland, and Murundaka Swamp.Signage will be in place at access points to the control zones, for your own safety do not enter the closed sections of the parklands between the hours of 5pm and 6am on the dates listed above.For further information please open the displayed QR code.
