Temporary closure Traditional Owner Burn - Lower Goulburn NP Wyuna - Emily Jane Trk Camping area, Forest Bend Wyuna Camping Area

Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation in partnership with Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) is conducting a Traditional Owner burn in this area (Lower Goulburn National Park, Wyuna) which will result in Emily Jane Track Camping Area and Forest Bend Track Camping Area being closed from the time the burn is approved for ignition until the area is declared safe. Ignition of the burn is scheduled from Monday 23 September to Wednesday 25 September and is subject to favourable weather. The temporary closure will be in place from 12:01 am Monday 23 September to Wednesday 25 September 2024. Check the status of current planned burns at https://plannedburns.ffm.vic.gov.au

Murray River Adventure Trail

Stage One of the Murray River Adventure Trail proposes new canoe and kayak launches, pedestrian links and new facilities at key visitor sites from Barmah National Park to Koondrook. Stage One will pass through Echuca, Murray River Reserve, Gunbower National Park and Lower Goulburn National Park. Find out more about the project.
