Below are some of the major projects we completed in 2024.

Eastern Track at galada tamboore

A new track has been built in the galada tamboore floodplain in marram baba Merri Creek Regional Parklands, to provide access for maintenance vehicles and visitors.

Erskine Falls upgrade

The popular Erskine Falls in the Great Otway National Park near Lorne is being upgraded. Carparking, fencing, handrails, track surface, stairs, a lookout platform and bridges will be repaired and upgraded.

Lake Natimuk Weir Replacement

Works on a new weir structure had been commenced in 2016 by the Natimuk Lake Foreshore Committee of Management. This project will complete and improve the stability of the weir, establish embankments and ensure the water level of the lake is managed appropriately.

Olinda Precinct Project Stage One

Stage one has delivered a nature-based playspace, the Olinda Green sporting oval, a new netball court and new cricket training facilities, provided more opportunities for visitors to get active in nature.

Point Nepean Campground project

A low-impact campground with pre-pitched tents has been built at the Quarantine Station, creating a unique opportunity for people to extend their visit to one of Victoria’s most beautiful and significant national parks.
