Set Aside Determination - St Leonards Boat Ramp

As the Port Manager of Port Phillip, Parks Victoria has set aside an area of Port Phillip to facilitate upgrade works at the St Leonards boat ramp.
The set aside area has been established approximately 30 metres around the boat ramp and is defined by on-site signage and four yellow special mark buoys at the following approximate locations:

- Buoy 1: 38°10.7817'S, 144°42.9883'E
- Buoy 2: 38°10.795’S, 144°43.015’E
- Buoy 3: 38°10.8083’S,144°43.005’E
- Buoy 4: 38°10.805’S, 144°42.9717’E

The set aside has been established under Regulation 10 of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the individuals involved in the works and Parks Victoria officers.

(1) For the purposes of promoting the safe, efficient and effective management of a local port, a port
manager may make a determination to set aside an area in a local port—

(c) to which access is prohibited or restricted.
To prohibit access to the area surrounding St Leonards boat ramp for the purpose of completing renewal works..

Access to St Leonards boat ramp is prohibited to all persons excluding Parks Victoria officers and individuals involved in the works for the times and periods specified.
Approximately 30 metres around St Leonards boat ramp as per zone ‘1’, marked by four special mark exclusion buoys (shown in map 1 attached).

Buoy 1: 38°10.7817'S, 144°42.9883'E

Buoy 2: 38°10.795’S, 144°43.015’E

Zone 1 is in effect when signage on site or a Notice to Mariners stipulates that the zone is active. Changes to times or dates will be advertised by Notice to Mariners and advertised on the Parks Victoria website.
