Brambuk cultural centre upgrade and re-imagining project

The Brambuk upgrade and reimagining project will refresh the iconic Brambuk cultural centre building in Halls Gap. The project will also develop new visitor services, commercial opportunities, and progress future management by a Traditional Owner enterprise.

Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park Fire Recovery

Parks Victoria is leading a fire recovery project, working with other agencies as part of the whole of government recovery response to the 2024-25 summer fires. Over the next three months Parks Victoria is delivering $1.88million of initial recovery works, focusing on critical biodiversity and urgent visitor site recovery in the fire area.

Grampians Iconic 4WD experience upgrades

To provide more options to access the Grampians Peaks Trail, a range of new and upgraded access points and trailheads are being developed along the trail.

Lake Elizabeth campground upgrades

Lake Elizabeth campground is sheltered by tall eucalypt trees and nestled beside the Barwon River in the Great Otway National Park. The campground is being upgraded with better defined campsites, a new toilet for campers and day visitors, a new shelter, improved carparking and paths, new signs, and several new picnic tables and wood-fired barbecues

Mackenzie Falls (Migunang wirab) Revitalisation

Mackenzie Falls is one of the most spectacular and most visited sites in the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park. To better cater for these high visitor numbers, including managing visitor safety and potential impacts on the landscape, the Victorian Government is investing more than $7 million to upgrade the area.
