Parks Victoria's Contractor induction

To ensure the health and safety of our contractors, employees and visitors, all contractors are required to complete a 30 minute on-line induction before commencing work on a Parks Victoria managed site. In addition to the on-line induction, a site specific induction is also required which details the local hazards and park systems. These inductions are valid for twelve months from the date of issue and it is the contractors’ responsibility to make sure their induction is valid.

Part 1

Complete the Contractor Induction Module (approximately 30 minutes)

At completion of the induction module, you will be required to complete a confirmation form to verify your induction and acknowledge that you have read and understand your HSE obligations and responsibilities while carrying out work activities at Parks Victoria. By completing the confirmation form, Parks Victoria will have a record that you have completed this induction. You will need to screenshot or print the verification of induction and carry it with you.

Part 2

Undertake the Local work centre/park induction where you will be given a copy of the local induction booklet detailing the local hazards and emergency response arrangements. Show evidence of having completed the Contractor Induction Module.

Part 3

Bring your documented safe systems of work i.e. JSA’s/SWMS to the local induction for the Parks Victoria Contact (PVC) for information.
