• We are aligning our volunteer requirements with the Worker Screening Act legislation. This will provide clarity to volunteers about who needs a Working With Children Check.  
• Parks Victoria is removing unnecessary barriers which prevent people from volunteering, while continuously maintaining safety. 
• We’ve listened to feedback from volunteers and groups that the amount of administration burden was a major barrier for them to volunteer.
