Parks Victoria is completing important works at Yarra Bend Park to replace the local playground. 

The playground at Dickinson Reserve was removed in 2024 as it was at its end of life and not suitable for use. Parks Victoria has allocated funding to replace the playground and has developed three potential design options.

It is important the playground is shaped by those who will be using it the most. Local community members and key stakeholders will have an opportunity to be involved in selecting the preferred design for the new playground. 

The playground will be manufactured locally and ready to be enjoyed later this year.
