Glenmaggie Regional Park
Situated on the shores of Lake Glenmaggie, the reserve has been set aside as a representation of vegetation prior to European settlement.
The reserve is thought to be one of the best examples of red iron bark/red box forests and contain a diverse array of wildflowers. Glenmaggie Regional Park provides a safe and scenic place for walking, picnics, community groups, wildflower enthusiasts and other wildlife groups to explore and learn about important and diverse plant and animal groups.

Visiting a park can be more of a challenge for people with disabilities, however in Victoria there are a wide range of facilities to help people of all abilities enjoy our wonderful parks around the state.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in Parks Victoria parks and reserves. Entry requirements apply for parks and reserves where dogs are normally prohibited, such as national parks.

Glenmaggie Regional Park is in the West and South Gippsland Fire District. Bushfire safety is a personal responsibility. Anyone entering parks and forests during the bushfire season needs to stay aware of forecast weather conditions. Check the Fire Danger Rating and for days of Total Fire Ban at www.cfa.vic.gov.au, on the VicEmergency smartphone app, or call the VicEmergency Hotline on 1800 226 226. No fires may be lit on Total Fire Ban days. On Code Red Fire Danger Rating days this park will be closed for public safety. Closure signs will be erected but do not expect an official warning. Check the latest conditions here or by calling 13 1963. For emergency assistance call Triple Zero (000). If there is a green emergency marker sign near you, read the information on the marker to the operator.

- Please take rubbish away with you for recycling & disposal.
- All native plants & animals are protected by law, please do not disturb them in any way.
- Firearms are prohibited.
- Taking of firewood is prohibited.
- Wood and solid fuel barbecues are not permitted.
- Leave the park as you find it.
- Dogs are permitted; must always be on leash or under control.
