Lerderderg Campground (Lerderderg State Park)

Lerderderg Campground is located on the northern edge of Lerderderg State Park. This is the parks only designated 2WD, drive-in campground and is a great base for 4WD exploration. The camping area offers a range of amenities including camp pads, fireplaces, picnic tables and toilets, making this a great spot for first time campers.
Enjoy the evening staring at the stars and searching for the elusive Powerful Owl that spends its nights hunting. Wake to the song of native birds such as Currawongs, Crimson Rosellas, and Cockatoos, and enjoy the day in the rugged, natural surrounds.
Prospecting, fossicking, and digging is prohibited. Penalties apply.
Rubbish bins are not provided so please take all rubbish home with you.
Please bring all the water you need for drinking, cooking, and washing.
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on-lead.
Fires may be lit only in the fireplaces provided if it is not a Total Fire Ban Day and a 3-metre area around the fire is cleared of anything flammable.
Visitors are encouraged to bring own firewood. Firewood collection for use in fireplaces is permitted. Chainsaw use prohibited for collection of firewood.

Lerderderg State Park is in the Central fire district. Bushfire safety is a personal responsibility.
