Longridge Campground (Yarra River, Yarra Valley Parklands)

Longridge campground offers a quiet location beside the Yarra River. The river flats are perfect for a weekend camping retreat with friends and family in a beautiful woodland setting.

Within the campground you will find picnic tables, an open fire pit and a toilet shower block.

Longridge campground must be booked and can accommodate one group of up to 40 people.

Access is restricted to booked campers.

Porter Street Picnic Area (Westerfolds Park) Closure

Due to current protected industrial action, access to some parks, sites and visitor facilities may be limited or restricted at times. Vehicle access and parking may not be available.

Affected areas may include:
- Porter Street Picnic Area entry road and carparks.

Pedestrian access is available.

We appreciate visitors’ understanding and patience during this time.

Birrrarung Park Gate Closure

Due to current protected industrial action, access to some parks, sites and visitor facilities may be limited or restricted at times. Vehicle access and parking may not be available.

Affected areas may include:
- Birrarung Park Entry Road and Carpark

Pedestrian access from the 24 hour carpark is available.

We appreciate visitors’ understanding and patience during this time.

Leonda Landing closure

Leonda Landing on the Yarra River is currently closed to all pedestrian and vessel access until further notice due to structural damage.  

In the interest of visitor safety, please stay off the structure. 

A temporary floating landing has been installed adjacent to the timber landing to allow access for small vessels (<12m) to berth and unload passengers. This landing is for loading and unloading of passengers only.
