O’Briens Crossing Picnic Area is nestled by the banks of the Lerderderg River. Sheltered by tall gum trees, enjoy a picnic in good company before setting out on a walk to explore the rugged terrain of Lerderderg Gorge on your four-wheel drive adventure.

O'Briens Road Closed

O'Briens Road will be closed to vehicles between Diggers track and Firth Road from 18th-20th of June due to roadworks. Access to Lerderderg Campground will be via Greendale - Trentham Road on to O'Briens and Upper Chadwick track. Please adhere to closure signage.

Bluegum Track and closure

Bluegum Track will be closed for three non-consecutive days in May/June for conservation works. This includes the 15th May and the 21st May with the third date pending. This information will be updated when the third date is known. Holts Road will also be inaccessible on these same dates.
