Murray River Park - Closures Do to Flooding

Due to high volumes of rainfall in the catchments the Ovens and Murray Rivers are expected to rise to level that will impact some campgrounds resulting in closures of some areas.
I have attached a updated access report for the Murray River  downstream of the Yarrawonga Weir to Tocumwal. In addition Paroles Bend, Big Naughtons Bend and Little Naughtons Bend will closed due to expected impact from the Ovens River.
Our teams are working hard to assess hazards and undertake works so that Parks are safe to reopen as soon as water levels dictate.
Closed Areas
Horseshoe Bend
Parolas Bend
Big Naughtons Bend
Little Naughtons Bend
Finley Beach
Bruce’s Beach
Nevins Bend
Bruce’s Bend
Bourke’s Bend
West of Cobram to Tocumwal
