Projects completed in 2025
With the number of visitors increasing, we’re undertaking a project to formalise the Anglers Rest walking track and install a barrier at the lookout to keep visitors safe.
Davies Plain 4WD route upgrades
The remote Davies Plain in the Alpine National Park, north east of Omeo, offers a range of opportunities for those who love 4WDing and camping. The project will deliver a range of improvements across the area, including replacing and maintaining facilities and road and track maintenance.
The project aims to upgrade trails, enhance accessibility, and foster a seamless connection between Dja Dja Wurrung culture and health and wellbeing experiences in the park.
We have delivered two new shared-use trails at Jells Park thanks to a $5.9 million investment from the Victorian Government.
The Blowhole Lookout - Poombeeyt Koontapool
The Loch Ard Precinct is a large, diverse landscape and coastal environment with multiple destinations and features of visitor interest. The Victorian Government is investing $5.5 million to build The Blowhole Lookout - Poombeeyt Koontapool, which will provide a new visitor experience at this tucked away site.
