Work experience
Work Experience - Secondary School
A week of work experience with our passionate staff at one of our parks across Victoria can provide high school students with a taste of what it's like to work for Parks Victoria.
All work experience placements need to be negotiated directly with the local work centre or office and will be accepted at the discretion of the local Parks Victoria staff depending on their capacity to host students.
If you are a high school student and wish to complete work experience at Parks Victoria please contact your local park and speak directly to the staff.
Work Placements - Tertiary/Further Studies
A work placement is a short to mid-term opportunity that provides tertiary students or those undertaking further studies, for example TAFE, with the opportunity to apply the theory and skills they are learning while studying in a professional workplace.
These types of placements need to be negotiated on a case by case basis directly with the local work centre or office and will be accepted at the discretion of the local Parks Victoria staff depending on their capacity to host students.
To help keep our staff and community safe please adhere to Department of Health advice especially around physical distancing and mask wearing when interacting with Parks Victoria staff.
If you require further assistance, please call 13 1963.
