Woowookarung Regional Park

Woowookarung is a 641-hectare regional park located in Ballarat. The park was created in 2016 through the ongoing efforts of the local community and its many user groups.

The Woowookarung Regional Park Strategic Directions Plan was developed based on expert advice and community engagement conducted throughout 2017 through to 2018. The plan includes a vision statement for the park, with detailed strategies developed under eight key directional themes.

The plan guides the management and development of the park for the next 15-20 years.
