Corporate volunteering
Get hands on in nature and plan a team-building day with a lasting impact
Our ranger-led team volunteering days offer your team the opportunity to get involved in on-ground work in a park or reserve.
Whether its habitat restoration, helping to protect our coastlines, conserve our unique biodiversity, or support revegetation of native plants - we have a range of different opportunities at parks and reserves across the state to suit your team.
Why you should volunteer with Parks Victoria

Parks and reserves where your team can make a difference
Regenerate Melbourne's 'Inner Lungs'
Albert Park is the green lungs of Melbourne’s inner south. However, this biodiversity hotspot is under threat from urbanisation, threatening the birdlife and native aquatic fringes that call this park home.
Your team will work alongside our urban rangers to restore native vegetation, create cooling corridors and protect the habitat of over 100 bird species.
Winter: Targeted planting of native aquatic fringes.
Spring/Summer: Precision weeding and heritage site maintenance.
Protect inner Melbourne's wildlife corridor
Yarra Bend is inner Melbourne’s largest area of natural bushland and home to a massive grey-headed flying fox colony. Invasive weeds are choking the Yarra River banks, preventing native trees from regenerating and endangering local fauna, however the damage is repairable with human intervention.
Your team will work along the river's edge to remove invasive species, ensuring the Wildlife Corridor remains a safe and vibrant passage for Melbourne’s unique biodiversity.
Winter: Habitat restoration planting.
Spring/Summer: Woody weed removal, track and bushland maintenance.
Safeguard our water security
Maroondah Reservoir Park’s high-canopy forests and historic gardens play a critical role in Melbourne’s water catchment, transferring water to Sugarloaf Reservoir in Christmas Hills, before it is distributed to the water supply in Melbourne’s northern, western and inner suburbs. Unfortunately, invasive species are threatening the health of the park’s trees that filter water for the city.
Your team will help ensure access to clean water by preserving the integrity of the water catchment. You will also assist in managing forest health and maintaining the vital infrastructure that connects Victorians to nature.
Winter: Native forest enrichment planting.
Spring/Summer: Forest health management and garden heritage care.
Preserve bushland for future generations
Wattle Park is a rare 137-hectare refuge of remnant Box-Stringybark woodland in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, just 35-minutes from the CBD. This suburban retreat is under constant pressure from urban encroachment and pest plant species that outcompete native orchids and wildflowers.
Your team will help ensure the park survives and thrives for future generations by undertaking site-specific restoration and revegetation.
Winter/Autumn: Strategic revegetation.
Spring/Summer: Conservation weeding and light landscaping.
Strengthen coastal resilience
Cape Schanck boasts dramatic cliffs and ancient geological formations where the bush meets the sea. However, severe coastal erosion and invasive ‘garden escapees’ are destabilising the cliffs and threatening fragile coastal heathlands.
Your team will help stabilise dunes and clear invasive species to protect one of Victoria’s most rugged and beautiful coastlines.
Winter: Dune stabilization and native planting.
Spring/Summer: Erosion control and track accessibility maintenance.

What to expect during your booking
Corporate volunteering days are immersive, nature-based experiences designed to deliver tangible environmental impact.
Sessions generally run in the morning for approximately 4.5 to 5 hours (for example, 9 am to 2 pm). As activities are seasonal and site-specific, your final itinerary and start times will be confirmed when our local park ranger reaches out to you.
Your session begins with a ranger-led induction and safety briefing, where you will receive expert technical instruction on the conservation tasks for the day. Following this guidance, your team will be empowered to carry out the activity using the professional tools and materials provided.
The fee for a corporate volunteering day is $1500 which is fully tax deductible. This covers ranger coordination, tools, materials, insurance and an Impact Scorecard for your team. Please note that the $1500 fee applies for shorter or half-day sessions as well.
21 days' notice is required to book a corporate volunteering day.
To ensure a high quality and safe experience, our standard group size is 10 to 30 people. However, we can often accommodate larger groups at specific locations or during a certain season by utilising different parks sites or breaking teams into smaller cohorts. If your group exceeds 30 participants, please book a Discovery Call so we can discuss a tailored setup that meets your needs.
