Accessibility
Visiting a park can be more of a challenge for people with disabilities, however, in Victoria there are a wide range of facilities to help people of all abilities enjoy our wonderful parks around the state. Parks Victoria provides a range of a equipment, including all-terrain and beach wheelchairs, facilities, accommodation and accessibility information and programs to help you plan and enjoy your visit to Victoria's parks.
Assistance dogs are welcome in Parks Victoria parks and reserves. Entry requirements apply for parks and reserves that are usually dog prohibited, such as national parks.

Black Range State Park
Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park and Black Range (Burrunj) State Park - Temporary Closures – Wednesday 9 September to Friday 11 September 2026
Aerial pest control operations will take place over three days at Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park & Black Range (Burrunj) State Park.Weather permitting, temporary park closures will be in place from Wednesday 9 September to Friday 11 September 2026 for the duration of operations.The program will be delivered during daylight hours and will be carried out by professionals under strict conditions to ensure practices are safe, effective, and humane.Areas will be thoroughly assessed and swept prior to any operations, and there will be rangers at key closures, in addition to signage, to notify visitors of the operation occurring in the surrounding area.The Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT) and GPT Hike-in Campgrounds will be buffered out of the operations areas.The primary target species are predators (foxes) and herbivores (deer and goats). Deer cause serious damage by trampling native vegetation, increasing grazing pressure post-bushfire, ring-barking young trees, fouling waterholes, causing soil erosion, and spreading weeds.Please see Aerial Operations Map below and attached Fact Sheet.If you require further information, please contact Brambuk the National Park Information Centre on 8427 2058 and stay up to date with park closures by visiting Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park
