    Underground Tours Suspended Late April-Early August 2026

    Underground tours will be suspended for a period of approximately three months, to allow contractors to complete underground works safely. 

    These works relate to the capital project currently underway at the State Coal Mine. Further information relating to this project can be found at the following link. 

    Bookings for underground tours during the affected dates will be closed.

    All aboveground attractions including the heritage trail, Visitor Centre and Coal Mine Cafe will remain open daily from 10am-4pm.
