Visiting a park can be more of a challenge for people with disabilities, however, in Victoria there are a wide range of facilities to help people of all abilities enjoy our wonderful parks around the state. Parks Victoria provides a range of a equipment, including all-terrain and beach wheelchairs, facilities, accommodation and accessibility information and programs to help you plan and enjoy your visit to Victoria's parks.
Assistance dogs are welcome in Parks Victoria parks and reserves. Entry requirements apply for parks and reserves that are usually dog prohibited, such as national parks.

Track closures due to severe weather damage.
Cricket Ground and Britannia Spur Tracks- seasonally closed roads not yet suitable for reopening due to severe weather damage.Closure of Northern Tramway Walking Track Walhalla
The northern section of the tramway walking track from the Long tunnel mine to the North Gardens camping area has been closed due to water damage and land slips caused by previous extreme weather events. The track has been assessed as being too risky to remain open and will be closed from June 30th 2023. Safety is our number one priority.Poverty Point Bridge Closure
After an engineers assessment recommended that the the bridge be closed for public safety.The Bridge will remain closed until significant repairs the structure have been completed andthe Bridge made safe again for public use.
