Volunteer

Volunteering in parks is a great way to contribute to conserving Victoria’s special places. The many personal benefits of volunteering include learning more about plants and wildlife, gaining new skills, being in the outdoors, improving health and well being and meeting new friends. Time spent in nature also reduces stress and promotes physical wellbeing.

    Warneet North Jetty closed

As part of a recent independent engineering assessment, Warneet North Jetty has been deemed unsafe for public use. Following this, for public safety, we are required to close the entire pier. We know how important the jetty is for the community, but we must put community safety first. We know locals love Warneet’s jetties and the opportunities they offer to enjoy time in the great outdoors. We’ll continue working with Better Boating Victoria on detailed designs for the future of the jetty as part of work on the Warneet Boating Precinct Plan.
