Volunteer

Volunteering in parks is a great way to contribute to conserving Victoria’s special places. The many personal benefits of volunteering include learning more about plants and wildlife, gaining new skills, being in the outdoors, improving health and well being and meeting new friends. Time spent in nature also reduces stress and promotes physical wellbeing.

  • Wonga Camping Area (Wimmera River Heritage River, Wyperfeld National Park)

Safety Alert - Feral Bee Activity

Safety Alert - Please be advised that due to the dry conditions we are experiencing an increased number of bee sightings and swarms gathering around water sources.  Be aware that there may be bees in the camping area and day use areas around the toilet blocks and water tanks.  The bees are feral bees such as the European Honey Bees and are therefore not native Australian bees.
