Partial Park Closure for Planned Burning - Dergholm State Park

Park visitors are advised of a partial park closure of Dergholm State Park from 30th May 2025 until further notice.

Forest Fire Management Victoria is planning to ignite a 291Ha block in the area north of Rocky Creek Road - refer to hashed area within red overlay on attached map.  For more information on planned burns: ffm.vic.gov.au/planned burn.

Park visitors are advised the section red overlay highlighted on the attached map is closed to enable safe execution of the planned burn.  In accordance with regulation 20(1)(b) of the National Park Regulations 2024, public access to this area and vehicles entering this area is restricted for the purpose of public safety.

The partial closure will be reopened upon safe declaration of the planned burn area.  For further information on the partial park closure, visitors can contact Parks Victoria on 13 1963 or via email: info@parks.vic.gov.au.
