Change of Road conditions to Angusvale Camping area in Mitchell River National Park

Mitchell River Road is currently recommended for All wheel Drive and Four Wheel Drive vehicles with sufficient clearance. Vehicles travelling on Mitchell River Road require attention to variations of the surface along the length of road between Bairnsdale - Dargo Road and Angusvale Camping area..

Mitchell Views Track Closure

Due to a land slip, Mitchell Views Track will be closed to vehicles between the two day visitor sites that sit along the Mitchell River Walking Track. This section of road can still be used by hikers. The day visitor sites can still be reached with vehicles, but only via Billy Goat bend for the southern section, or Mitchell River Road for the northern section.
