Meander along the Crater Rim Walk and skirt the edge of the now dormant volcano before climbing to the peak of 'Mount' Budj Bim. Take in the views over Lake Surprise and spot koalas among the Manna Gum and blackwood forest before descending back to Budj Bim Campground.

Budj Bim National Park. Northern toilet block in campground temporarily closed

The northern toilet block in Budj Bim National Park has been temporarily closed due to low usage and seasonal workforce shortages. 

This toilet block will be re-opened in late October 2022, or earlier, if demand requires. 

The main toilet block and showers, located 100m to the south of the northern toilet block, remain open.
