Eagles Nest - Construction Access Restrictions
The Eagles Nest lookout is currently closed for upgrades, with works anticipated to continue into Spring 2026.
The Eagles Nest car park and beach access remain open, with visitors continuing to access the beach via the walking track from the car park.
Over the coming months, there will be short, temporary closures of the car park to facilitate the safe delivery of large construction materials to site.
Parks Victoria will provide updates as works progress, with temporary closures advertised on this page in advance.
Punchbowl Visitor Site - Construction Access Restrictions
Parks Victoria is currently upgrading the scenic lookout at the Punchbowl, with works anticipated to continue into Spring 2026.
During this time, the Punchbowl car park and beach remain accessible, with only the lookout itself closed during construction.
Please observe any on site directional/ detour signage during your visit.

The Arch and Shanty Lane - Construction Access Restrictions
Parks Victoria is constructing a new lookout incorporating Bunurong artwork, interpretive signage and visitor seating at The Arch, Kilcunda.
The existing trail and car park remain open during construction.
Please observe any on site directional/ detour signage during your visit.
