Golden Beach Electric BBQ closed for repairs

  1. Parks Victoria is carrying out inspections in all of our barbecues in our parks. Following these inspections, some barbecues have been temporarily closed until they can be attended by a licenced contractor. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
  2. Visitor safety is our top priority and we advise people to please not to use any barbecue facilities that have been closed. We expect the impacted barbecues to reopen in the coming weeks.

Bird Hide Track and boardwalk closed until further notice

Bird Hide Track and boardwalk in the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park are closed from 29 August 2023 until further notice due to safety.  There is no access to the Rotamah Shore Bird Hide within the closure period.

Golden Beach Camping Area 3 Closed

Camp area 3 near Golden Beach within the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park is closed. Please camp in one of the other camping areas close by. Toilets are accessible from camp area 2.
