Princess Margaret Rose Cave is currently closed to the public. Essential safety works including new cave lighting, painting the visitor centre and electrical systems are complete. Work is continuing to upgrade toilets and the wastewater system.

Bushfire in Lower Glenelg National Park

Lightening caused ignition of a bushfire on Thursday 16th October 2025 in the Kentbruck Heath area of Lower Glenelg National Park.

Forest Fire Management Victoria, supported by Parks Victoria, are responding to and monitoring the bushfire.

Great South West Walk - Diversion along Inkpot Road

The diversion is due to a bushfire in the Lower Glenelg National Park. Emergency vehicles will be operating in the area, please stay alert
