Take a walk along the meandering Heathland Walk and introduce yourself to the unique and fragile coastal environment of Croajingolong National Park. In spring and summer, see the coastal headland heath bloom and wildflowers colour the landscape. Look out for Ground Parrots scurrying across the trail.

Croajingolong National Park information - updated 13 April 2023

Point Hicks Road is closed south of Bald Hills.

The following eight areas are closed because of the 2019/2020 bushfires and coastal erosion caused by ongoing heavy rainfall.  Visitors are unable to access the Point Hicks Lighthouse, Thurra River Campground, and nearby walking tracks. Parks Victoria continue to maintain surveillance and security of these areas. Please continue to monitor this site for updates and change of conditions.

The Wilderness Coast Walk is closed between Bemm River and Wingan Inlet Campground.
 
The following walking tracks are closed:
·      Wingan Inlet Rapids Walk
 
The following jetties around Mallacoota are closed:
·      Kingfish Point
 
Seasonal road closures generally operate from after the long weekend in June through to the end of October, but many remain closed in areas affected by significant rainfall and flooding across Victoria in late 2022. The following tracks remain closed:
·      Swan Lake
·      Clinton Rocks Track
·      Cicada Trail
·      Gale Hill
·      Betka Track
·      Miners Track
·      Lakeview Track
·      Howe Flat Track
·      Howe Hill Track
·      Barracoota Track
The water supply at Wingan Inlet Campground water trough was damaged by floods. Campers are advised to not rely on the trough for water resupply while camping.

Centre Track Road Closure

Centre Track will be closed due to road improvement works, including grading and drainage works being undertaken from 1/06/23 - 08/06/23 

There will be no access to Shipwreck Creek Campground whilst works are being undertaken. 

Tree Management works - Genoa falls, Genoa Peak, Captains Creek Day Visitor areas and Shipwreck Creek Camp Ground

Parks Victoria has engaged suitably qualified arborists to assess and treat tree risk with day visitor sites and camp grounds. 

Contractors will be onsite at the following locations on either the 6 or 7 June 2023
1. Genoa Peak Day Visitor Area
2. Genoa Falls Car Park Area
3. Captain Creek Day Visitor Area
4. Shipwreck Creek Beach Access track

Temporary safety signage will be in place in immediate work areas.

There will be an increase in noise with machinery while works take place.
