Snowy River National Park - Track Conditions and Temporary Closures

Parts of the four wheel drive track network within the Snowy River National Park are closed due to very poor track condition.  Tracks affected by this closure are Bowen Track (from Warm Corners Track to Bowen Link Track), Warbisco Track and Bowen Link Track.

The Mt. Joan Staircase on the Deddick Trail is also in poor condition and in order to avoid further deterioration, park visitors are asked to only travel the Deddick Trail in a northerly direction from Rich Knob Track to Bowen Track.

Deddick Trail, Snowy River National Park - Blocked by large fallen tree at Rodger River

The Deddick Trail, in Snowy River National Park, is blocked by a large fallen tree at the ford crossing over the Rodger River.  There is no vehicle access around the tree.

It should be possible to navigate around this blockage by utilising Waratah Flat Rd and Rich Knob Track.
