The Pier off Kerferd Road, Albert Park, is of historical and architectural significance to the State of Victoria. It offers a space for fishing, boating and enjoying the scenery. Public berthing is available on Kerferd Rd Pier for up to 48 hours at a time (vessels should be attended). Other restrictions are detailed on Parks Victoria signs.
Kerferd Rd Pier is a popular spot for photographers. The foreshore offers other facilities such as public toilets, car parking, cafes and restuarants
Jumping and diving off the pier and other structures is prohibited for public safety. There are shallow areas and often unexpected submerged objects
Ensure dogs are kept on lead at all times and clean up after your dog.

Please be advised that the outer low landing at Lagoon Pier Port Melbourne will be closed for maintenance works. Works will occur periodically and are expected to take several weeks to complete. All works are subject to appropriate weather and sea conditions. Works could begin at any time  from 1 June 2026.
