Budj Bim National Park - Partial Closure

Following a bushfire in Budj Bim National Park, some areas of the park remain closed to the public.

Areas open to the public include:
- Budj Bim Lake Surprise visitor precinct,
- Budj Bim picnic area, campground and toilets
- Lake Surprise, Crater Rim and Lava Canal Walking tracks.

The remainder of park, including all 4wd tracks are closed until the bushfire is declared safe.

This will provide time for firefighters to ensure all risks in the bushfire area are treated.

Forest Fire Management Victoria firefighters remain in the park monitoring conditions.
