Mackenzies Flat to Grahams Dam Walk (Lerderderg River Heritage River, Lerderderg State Park)

Follow the river upstream from Mackenzies Flat Picnic Area to Grahams Dam, which offers views of Lerderderg Gorge. The short 3km return walk will take you along the Lerderderg River and allow you the opportunity to see native flora and fauna like, fragrant saltbush and wallabies. The river is seasonal and will dry up in the summer months so be sure to go in the spring and autumn months when the river will be flowing.
Ensure that you bring plenty of water as none is provided.
If you plan to do a few of the walks, make sure you have a map.
Prospecting, fossicking, and digging is prohibited. Fires are not permitted.
